On May 20, a new special project of the Yaroslavl Biennale "Enlightenment" was opened at the Center for Contemporary Art "Dom muz" (House of Muses).  The organizers are the Russian Academy of Arts and the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art @mmoma

 The exhibition also includes my collaboration with the artist Aleksandar Laptev @alaptevc “The Last Hero.  Condition number two ”.

 Two artists who are representatives of different generations looked at the topic of the "last hero".

 What is the last hero?
 The last hero is a man with a sincere heart.  The life we ​​will be in brings us challenges where each of us becomes the "last hero" in the fight for our heart every second.  Every moment on our path is filled with doing when we have to make a choice and become heroes.  Time is rushing into irreversibility, into one abyss, and that abyss of the past and the abyss of the future that is coming are terrible, just like the terrible death that awaits us.

 In front of you is the character of the "last hero" who grabbed the moment and lives consciously now, without hypocrisy, really.  He is before us with all his shortcomings and weaknesses, without lies, in Divine Love.  It is the joy of a sincere heart.

 What can a man with a hard and deaf heart do when everything that has greatness and depth, everything Divine in life requires sincerity and love?  Nothing great and lasting has ever emerged from hypocrisy and deception.  That is why sincerity is a gift from God and a human treasure.  If today's humanity wants to recover and renew itself, it must regain the power and joy of a sincere heart.  The work "The Last Hero" talks about that fight.
